Valentine's Day Dinner A Success

White table cloths, heart shaped decorations, dishes with little candy hearts, appitizers, salads, entrees, deserts and waiters for every table. Some people might think this is describing a 4-star resturant, but it is just the men's group putting on a special Valentine's Day dinner.

Shortly after morning service on Valentine's Day, several of the men stayed to begin prepping the food for the dinner. By three o'clock, the men were starting to cook the food. Unfortunately, it was then that we discovered the church was out of propane (later to find that there was a leak in the propane system). After a quick brain storming session, the men rallied and went with Plan B ~ Electric Skillets (which was better then Plan C ~ Campfires!). Like a well oiled machine, the men worked together to serve each of the guests.

The men would like to thank everyone who came to the Valentine's Day dinner and those who helped make deserts or food.

We all would like to give a special thanks to the men who worked hard to make this a memorable event.

Extra special thanks goes to Amie Lynn Warner for assisting the men by ironing the table cloths, Lou Anne Moore for all her help, Judy Warner for helping with clean-up, and to Jesse Warner for organizing and directing things during the dinner.
